There are numerous features that you can use to customize each channel. Get the best out of your channels by customizing.
Channel settings can be changed in this menu. Settings here are Channel level and apply to all products in the channel. If you want to elaborate settings for some specific products, you must find the product in channel products and change product settings by editing the product.
Channel settings are located at:
Menu > Channel > Channel Settings.
Common Settings
General tab
Here you can change General settings for your channel:
Channel Name is the Sales Channel’s Name,
Seller Name is your seller name to be sent to the channel,
Currency is your transaction currency in the market, given the market allows this currency. If the market has only one currency, this variable is set to the market’s default currency and then cannot be changed,
Enable Repricer, enables the repricer (if this is an Amazon Channel). Repricer is a useful tool to adjust product prices within given limits and competitors' prices. If there is a competitor, it will go below their price, and if there is no competition it will increase the price. For more information regarding Repricer click here,
Product Sync Enabled enables product updates for this channel when clicked on the sync button,
Ignore publish State, ignores default publish state that was set in Menu > Settings > Global > Content Settings. This switch sets the default behavior for a newly created item whether it will be immediately published or not. For more information read the article “How to Control Publish State”.
Sync tab
Include all inventory, when checked includes all items in the inventory (all brands, all items) for sync by default. Unchecking this option only sends updated items. If you include your whole inventory the processing time of the channel server will lengthen depending on the data size. If you are changing a couple of items, it will just send those and leave the rest untouched.
Allow Product creation, if checked, allows new products to be created during sync, in case the product you are sending does not exist in the channel database,
Allow Product Update allows updating product data, prices, etc.
Enabled Updates selects what to update in the channel; you can update quantity, price, shipping prices, relationship data, and product images,

Allow Product Deletion, if checked, allows deletion of the product from the remote channel if it was deleted from StoreAutomator inventory. Use this option with caution, as it will delete items from the channel server, as recovering deleted items is a lengthy and cumbersome effort.
Remove discontinued Items, if checked, removes the items from the channel, if they were marked as “Discontinued” in their product data. Unchecking this option will leave discontinued items in the channel database, and they will be visible to your customers as discontinued,

Create Discontinued Items this will recreate deleted discontinued items in the platform database. This is useful for SEO purposes. Use this option with discretion as it will bring back discontinued items to the sales channel as discontinued.
Exclude Alt Skus, if checked, does not send ALT SKUs to the channel. This is useful when you have both master SKUs and Alt SKUs in your inventory and don't want to send Alt SKUs to the channel.
Default Fast-Listing Mode, this will set the default Fast-Listing Mode for the channel and all the products in the channel. Fast-Listing is a way to connect to Amazon catalog listings without entering detailed product information. You cannot fast list your own products, only products in the Amazon catalog can be Fast-Listed. For more information on Fast-Listing please read this article.
Orders tab
Enable Order Download, when checked, enables order information download to your StoreAutomator System database, which consists of customer name, address, ordered items, their quantities, tax, and shipping costs. This setting applies to all items in the channel. If you uncheck this, then no orders will be downloaded to the StoreAutomator system; and you need to follow up with your orders in some other interface e.g.in the homepage of your sales channel.
Note: Amazon does not allow us to store Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in our servers for more than 30 days, and requires this information to be deleted.
Order Download Mode, (for Amazon Channels only), downloads FBA or FBM or All orders. This is useful to figure which orders are Fulfilled by Amazon or your store.
Order Acknowledge Mode sets the default acknowledgment behavior when an order is received. An acknowledged order is your commitment to the sales channel and must be fulfilled by your store. When you receive an order, depending on this setting, it will either do nothing or acknowledge all orders or acknowledge orders in your stock only. You can leave this at “Do nothing” and when you send the tracking information of the package an automatic order acknowledgment will be sent to the channel.
Order Metrics Save Mode, This will turn off showing Metrics data that is being displayed in the Dashboard. For the duration this switch is kept in off position, Metrics data will neither be recorded nor can be recovered.
Enable Tracking update when checked it enables sending Tracking Numbers to the sales channel, which can be forwarded to the customer.
Order notification emails are a list of emails sent to your teammates who will respond to an order when an order is received. The system will forward the order information to these people so they can pick up items, make the packages, and ship them to the customers. Multiple emails can be entered by separating with commas or semi-columns.
Backorder Notification Emails, are the emails of people who will respond to a backorder situation when you don’t have the items in your stock. Multiple emails can be entered by separating with commas or semi-columns.
Enable order forwarding, when checked this will automatically forward all orders received from this channel to the fulfillment merchant selected in the drop-down menu. Use this option with caution as it will forward all orders to this merchant for fulfillment. Also, you can ask for tracking numbers from the merchants by checking the checkbox underneath. You can use this:

If you don’t have a warehouse of your own and fulfilling orders through other merchants,
-
Or, you are using another program to fulfill your orders within your warehouse,
-
Or, if you are going for a vacation and shutting down your store for a while.
Export Orders After This feature will export orders after the order number entered. E.g. your company is 10 years old, and you just need to see last year's orders, which are order number 6734 and up; so just enter 6734 in the textbox and the system will download orders after this number.
Inventory Tab
FBA Transition, (Amazon only) chooses the default behavior to send orders and fulfillment requests when you ran out of products in your FBA or FBM inventory.

When you run out of products in your FBA inventory but you still have products in your FBM inventory you can, automatically switch listings and fulfillment sources to FBM.

You can switch your fulfillment sources completely automatic or,
-
(d) You don't allow any fulfillment switching at all.
Masking Quantity forces the visible quantity of products to this value; this applies to the whole channel. It is also possible to set masking for individual products, this can be done on the product page.
Cut Off Quantity, when a product's quantity drops below this value it is automatically dropped from listings and fulfillment.
Pricing tab
Channel cost selection mode, selects the cost identification for this channel.
Source of strikethrough price, if you like to send strikethrough prices to channels and display a sales price, this can select the strikethrough price value. You can choose from MSRP or Regular price.
Ignore Global Sale Price when checked this will ignore the sales price of an item (as it was defined in the product page as “Regular Price”), and change it as per the settings and rules defined in this section. These settings and rules apply to all products in the channel.
Price Factor is the number to multiply the regular sales price with and change the final price. This multiplication factor applies to all products on the channel.
Price Rule is a feature to write parametric rules to change product prices. Price rules apply to all products in a channel. To read more about this feature please read the article “Pricing and Price Rules”. You can also set price rules for min and max values.
Price Match matches prices of a channel with a Repricer-enabled master channel, which both must be Amazon Channels. The rule applies to all products in the channel, to read more about this feature please refer to the article “How to match prices from one channel to others”.
Beautify Pricing, this feature will convert the Price field’s cents value to the “Beautify Decimal Value” or BDV. This setting will affect all items in a channel.

Beautify up, converts all cents from 01 to 98 to BDV with the same dollar value,
-
Beautify down, converts all cents from 98 to 00 to BDV with lowering dollar amount by 1,
-
Don’t beautify, will not make any change,
Beautify Decimal, defines the Beautification decimal Value or the BDV.
Shipping tab
Shipping template: Sales Channels have custom shipping templates, in this drop-down menu you can select and apply these templates. Selection of the template will apply to all products in the channel.
Standard Shipping price, this is the standard shipping price for this channel. If it is set, this will add the dollar amount shown, to all products in the channel.
Free Shipping Threshold, this is the threshold dollar amount to provide free shipping to your customers.
Shipping override – Ship Option, sets your shipping options for the selected channel only.
Shipping override – Type, sets the shipping override type for the channel if the shipping cost was additional to the price or was exclusive; Amazon Channels only.
Ship Days is the fastest shipping you can provide in days.
Tax tab
Tax Mode sets the tax mode. If it was included in the price or apply tax on top of the price or exclude it for all.
Default Tax Channel: This tax is automatically applied to all products in the channel in the form that was defined in “Tax mode” (above) and in the amount defined in this dropdown menu. This menu displays the tax rates you have defined in Menu > Settings > Taxes. For e.g., if you are selling in the UK and apply taxes to prices select “Apply Tax” and chose a 20% rate from the drop-down list. Ship Tax defines the shipping tax to be applied to this channel, if applicable.
"A_GEN_NOTAX" or "A_GEN_TAX" switch: Leave the switch disabled if you don't want your Amazon tax settings to be overridden, in case no tax class id is defined in StoreAutomator.
Content tab
Description Template sets the default description template for the channel. Description Templates formats and changes the descriptions of products to your sales strategy. The selected description template will be applied to all products in this channel.
Product Title Template changes the titles of all products in this channel with the help of the description template selected from the list. Title templates are the same as description templates and both are stored in Menu > Settings > Description & Title Templates Section. They are also created in the same manner. Skip Barcode Precheck, this will skip checking barcode before sending feeds. This is useful when channels require products to have UPC information. Such channels are Amazon and Walmart. You can apply and obtain UPC exemption for both channels.
Ignore Parent Images for Variants: When checked this will send the parent image for all its child products when sending data to sales channels. This is useful if you have pictures for parents and don’t have individual pictures for child products.
Send First Image As Swatch Image: When enabled, if a product doesn't have a swatch image, send its first image as a swatch image. Swatch images are defined in individual product images.
Include/Exclude Images by Labels: You can choose which images to send to channels for your products. Selection is done by including or excluding images by their labels. Labels can be assigned to products in the Product Editor>Images tab. Every image has a label textbox, and it can bear more than one label. If you select the label in the exclude section, the image will not be sent to the remote channel.
Condition Mapping Tab
This tab is used to map your conditions to channel conditions.
Field Mapping Tab
In StoreAutomator you can send select custom field contents to defined fields of remote channels. Below is a list of defined fields that you can send custom data to:

The appropriate custom field can be selected from the drop-down menu. If you don't want to change the default configuration you can set this field to 'Default'.
Warehouses tab
This tab sets which warehouses are assigned to fulfill this channel.
All warehouses: Selects all warehouses that you want to do the product fulfilments for this channel.
Active Warehouses: This is a list of active warehouses with checkboxes to define if that warehouse is active for the selected channel.
When a warehouse is turned off it means that this warehouse cannot fulfill any orders and all unique product quantities that are provided by this warehouse, will be removed from this channel. You can see the products from the turned-off warehouse as listings but the quantity will be zero.

Units Tab
In this tab, you can choose your units. Selections apply to all products in the channel.
Template
Feed Templates are stored here. You can select a template, save it and click on “Create feed” to download the feed. To read more about Feed templates you can refer to the article “Product Data Templates” and “How to Create A Google Feed”.
Repricer
Repricer contains the repricer settings for this channel. Repricer can only be operated on an Amazon channel. If you want to get more information regarding repricer, please refer to the article “Repricer”.
API Connection
This tab contains your seller ID, developer ID, and Authorization Token. These are the settings necessary to log in to your seller account in that channel. Once you enter this information and save it you won’t need to revisit this page again.
