Setting Up FTP/S3/SFTP Connections

By setting the connections such as for FTP, SFTP, S3 you can quickly connect your Data Exchange (DX) channels without typing all the credentials repeatedly and will allow you to select from a lookup list when you next need to configure your DX channels for data transfer. 

To do this:

Go Settings>Connections on the left navigation panel.

Click on “+Add Connection” on the top right side of the page and a box will appear for you to create a connection.

Within this box, give a name of your connection and select a connection type from the dropdown menu.

After you select the type of connection;

For FTP connections, Url, User and Password fields will appear. These need to be filled out to able to connect and save the connection credentials.

For SFTP connections, Url, User, Password and SshKey fields will appear and need to be filled out to be able to connect and save the connection credentials.

For S3 type, AccessKey, SecretKey, AwsRegion and S3Uri fields will be appear which need to be filled out to able to connect and save the connection credentials.

After editing the necessary information according to the type of connection, then you need to click “+Create” button.

Once everything is set up, the connection can be used to connect to the DX channel or channels.
