You can convert SKUs inventory to FBA or FBM in Amazon Seller Central through StoreAutomator.
By default, SKUs from StoreAutomator are sent to Amazon’s default warehouse as "FBM".
Amazon does not allow you to sell your FBA and FBM inventory under the same SKU at the same time. To do this you need to have two SKUs which are assigned to the same ASIN.
There are two ways to convert your SKUs into FBA in the SA if you are using two different SKUs for the same item.
The first way is manual transition. You can highlight the related item as FBA. To highlight your item, follow the steps below.
1- Edit your item by clicking “Edit”.
2- Turn on the “Is FBA'' switch under the “General” tab.
3-Force product quantity update to item in order to convert the sku to FBA.
The second way is, set the FBA transition status “Automatic to FBA “
1- You can select “Amazon Channel>Channel Settings>Common> click the Inventory tab”.
2- After following this path, you can adjust the “FBA Transition” field. The SA provides four types of FBA Transition; “Manual”, “Automatic to FBA”, “Automatic to FBM” and “Automatic for Both Ways”.
Manual Transition
The SA sends FBA skus to the FBA inventory of your Amazon account. FBA SKUs need to be marked as FBA on Amazon channel in SA. To do this, you can follow the first step above.
“Automatic to FBA Transition”
The SA downloads FBA reports from your Amazon account and compares your FBA Skus with the SA database. If your SKUs are marked in the FBA report, The SA switches these SKUs to FBA inventory in your seller central. Also The SA marks these items as FBA in SA, automatically.
If you want to convert your FBA SKUs to FBM, you can use Automatic to FBM Transition
“Automatic to FBM Transition”
The SA downloads FBA reports from your Amazon account and compares your FBA Skus with the SA database. If your FBA SKUs are no longer available in your FBA stocks, The SA switches these SKUs to FBM inventory in your seller central. Also The SA removes FBA badges from these items in SA, automatically.
If you use an individual SKU for FBA and FMB operations, you can use “ Automatic for both ways Transition”

The SA downloads FBA reports from your Amazon account and compares your FBA Skus with the SA database. If your SKUs are marked in the FBA report, The SA switches these SKUs to FBA inventory in your seller central. If your FBA SKUs are no longer available in your FBA stocks, The SA switches these SKUs to FBM inventory in your seller central therefore you can manage your items with both fulfillment options.
The SA downloads your FBA inventory report daily.
These changes will be applied on a channel basis and these actions only change the way your SKU communicates with Amazon.
