With the integration of the Walmart 5.0 Spec into StoreAutomator, users can now select Walmart specification types before creating templates. The templates for Walmart 5.0 have been designed to accommodate a wide range of product types that offer unique fields. The Walmart 5.0 integration provides an expanded field set to map, enhancing product visibility on Walmart's marketplace.
Steps to Create Walmart Templates
Creating Walmart templates follows a process similar to the other channel templates in StoreAutomator. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to “Settings>Templates”
- Click “Add Template” from the top right corner
- Find and click the Walmart channel icon.
- Choose the “Walmart 5.0” spec from the dropdown menu.
- After selecting the specification type, the category (product type) selection dropdown will become available.
Create a New Product Data Template
When the new templates are created, you need to map to your local categories from the “Mappings>Templates”.
