You can use the child variation image sort mode in SA to define the order child variation-images are sent to the channel. This is frequently used because it is important to determine which images from parent and children will be sent to the remote channel in which order, and this feature affects the product detail page of your listings. After using this feature, your listing's image placement on the remote channel will be shaped by the child variation image sort mode.

This feature is located at Channel>Channel Settings>Content tab and there are three options to choose from:

  • Self-Option-Parent (Default): This is the default option for the channel. When this is selected, firstly self images then option and parent images will be sent to the channel for child variation images.

  • Parent-Self-Option: When this option is selected, firstly parent images then self and option images will be sent to the channel as child images.

  • First Parent-Self-Option-Others: When this option is selected, firstly parent images then self, option and if there are other images are available, these images will be sent to the channel as child variation images.
