Connect a Walmart Account

Find out how to connect your Walmart account and start listing fast and easily with StoreAutomator's advanced listing features.

First, create your Walmart Channel if you haven’t done so:

To create a channel:

1. Menu > Settings > Channels

2. Click on “Add Channel” towards the upper right-hand corner

3. Choose a provider as “Walmart”

4. Choose a region

5. Provide a name for this channel

6. Click on the “Create Channel” button and “Edit” immediately after that,

Or, go to Menu > Current Channel > Channel Settings >API Connection, to connect to your Walmart account, the following information must be provided in this section:

• Authentication type,

• Consumer ID,

• Secret Key,

• Channel type,

Walmart has specific Channel Types. You can find available types and API information from their web site.

Go to Walmart developer portal to obtain the credentials.

• Log into the developer website using your own Walmart store Credentials.

• Click on "Add new Key for a Solution Provider"

• Choose an authentication type, which applies to your store.

• A new dialog box opens, in the list look for StoreAutomator and select it.

Next choose permissions you want to provide to StoreAutomator. At a minimum, SA needs Item, Orders, fulfilment Management and shipping settings.

Click submit to issue permissions. The next page is the production keys issued by Walmart, Copy and paste Client ID and Client secret to StoreAutomator Walmart API Connection settings page. Please provide Full Access on all Access types.

Follow the instructions on this page to obtain the Consumer ID, Secret Key, and save to your account at StoreAutomator and your connection is ready. Next time StoreAutomator will use this information to connect to your Walmart account.
