How to Solve eBay Error Code 21916799

This error occurs when the SKU of a linked listing is changed directly on eBay but the StoreAutomator record still contains the old SKU, which it will try to update on every inventory synchronization with eBay. This means that when SA tries to submit a quantity for the original listing based on the original SKU, it cannot match to your eBay item id. As the updated SKU will no longer exist on eBay, the inventory synchronization will fail. This error also may affect your product data and price updates.

Solution:

In order to resolve this issue, you need to delete and recreate the related SKU on eBay with a new item id. There are two ways that you can do this: (1 )Delete & Recreate or (2) the Exclude/Include method.

1- Delete & Recreate:

  • Select the related item and click the “Three Dot Icon>Advanced Sync Options>Delete & Recreate”

  • Sync the channel from the top left.

If you don’t have permission for advanced sync options, you can use the second method below to address this issue.

2- Include/Exclude:

  • Select the item and click the “Three Dot Icon>Inclusion Status>Exclude”

  • Sync the channel from the top left.

After the process ends, you need to include the item back into the eBay channel from the same directions and sync the channel again. You will be notified about the processes from the Notifications.

You can refer to the article below for detailed information about how to include/exclude an item.
