How to Set / Manage Your Channel Level Repricer Settings
Repricer Settings can be managed at the channel level after the Repricer has been enabled. Channel level repricer settings affect every repricer enabled product in the associated channel.
To access repricer settings, expand the navigation panel by clicking the plus sign to the right of the channel name:
There will be 5 tabs visible. Commission Rate, Minimum Margin, and Maximum Discount Rate can be controlled from the Margins tab. Each is recorded as a percentage.
Margin Tab
Default Commission Rate represents the fee (or commission) paid to Amazon for each sale:
Minimum Margin represents the minimum percentage the repricer is allowed to take the profit margins of the items sold through the selected channel.
In the set-up shown below, the profit margin for any product sold through the chosen Amazon channel will not be lower than 10% (unless this channel level setting is overridden on the product level):
Maximum Discount Rate represents the maximum discount allowed for any product sold through this channel. This setting will be overridden if the maximum discount is also set at the product level:
The second tab is labeled as Target Price. Target Price represents the price difference as compared to competitor prices.
Price Difference Method is used to control whether pricing will be determined based on staying a percentage under the competition or a fixed amount under the competition:
Target Price Difference represents how much below the competition the displayed price should be:
Restrictions Tab
Ignore Brand Settings is a field displayed under the Restrictions tab. When originally entering brand information to the Store Automator account, a maximum discount was able to be declared. If the Store Automator repricing system is to ignore all previously declared maximum discounts at the brand level, this box should be checked. If any previously declared maximum discounts must remain a higher priority, this box should be left unchecked:
Ignore MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) – This box should be checked if the Store Automator repricing system is to ignore all previously entered MAP information to apply lower prices. If any previously entered MAP information is a higher priority than lower prices, this box should remain unchecked:
Ignore MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) – This box should be checked if the Store Automator repricing system is to ignore all previously entered MSRP information to apply lower prices. If any previously entered MSRP information is a higher priority than lower prices, this box should remain unchecked:
Max Price Factor is used to limit the maximum price of an item based on its cost. The number declared on this scale will be multiplied by the cost of each product to determine the maximum price of all products will be sold for (Cost x ? = Maximum Allowed Price):
The StoreAutomator repricing system does offer the option of repricing Shipping Prices against the competition. However, this is a very complex feature. Please call us for more details.
Competitors Tab
The last tab is labeled as Competitors. For normal (non-FBA) products, the repricing system can be set to ignore FBA competition, non-FBA competition, or not to ignore any competition at all. For FBA Products, the repricing system can be set to ignore FBA competition, non-FBA competition, or not to ignore any competition at all:
Competition Minimum Rating is used to decide which competitors will be ignored based on their seller rating:
Competition Minimum Feedback represents the minimum feedback count a competitor must have before the repricing system will begin competing with them:
Ignore Price Deviation (%) – Enable this to ignore competitors if their price deviates more than this percent of the regular price:
